Reaction: Duff on Stevenage

26 December 2020

Michael Duff viewed Cheltenham Town's 1-1 draw with Stevenage as "an opportunity missed" as he saw his team throw away their first half lead on Boxing Day.

Liam Sercombe's fine first half strike had given Cheltenham the edge against their struggling opponents, but they failed to take advantage and were forced to settle for a point against a Stevenage side who fought back well in the second half.

Duff feels his team have failed recently to reach the levels they are capable of but has also highlighted that his squad need to not be too downbeat as they currently sit 4th in the division ahead of a final game in 2020 at Colchester United on Tuesday.

Next up on Tuesday is a trip to Essex to take on Colchester. Kick-off is at 7.45pm and you can watch the game online by purchasing an iFollow match pass for £10.
