Reaction: Duff on Portsmouth

8 December 2020

Michael Duff wants some of his Cheltenham Town players to learn from their defeat in the Papa John's Trophy to Portsmouth.

Defending champions Pompey were comfortable winners in the second round at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium to become the first team to score past the Robins in the competition this season, and knock them out.

Heading back to Hampshire with a 3-0 win and a place in the last 16, Duff's side produced a below par showing as fans were present at the stadium for the second time in four days for the first time this season.

Next his team's attentions turn to Saturday's League Two game at Salford City. You can purchase a match pass to watch the game at the Peninsula Stadium online.

The next home fixture is on Tuesday 15 December when Bolton Wanderers are the visitors. There are a limited amount of general sale tickets available to buy for the game against the Trotters.
