Cheltenham Town have been drawn to face Sky Bet League One side Peterborough United away from home in round one of the Carabao Cup.
First-round matches are expected to take place on Saturday 5 September, which is a week before the Robins' Sky Bet League Two campaign gets underway, but dates could be subject to change.
Michael Duff's side were knocked out at the first stage last season against another team in the third tier, as Bristol Rovers ran out 3-0 winners at the Memorial Stadium.
The Robins last faced Posh in a League One fixture back in 2009, with the match ending 1-1.
