Cheltenham Town have landed the signing of goalkeeper Josh Griffiths on a loan agreement from Premier League side West Bromwich Albion.
He becomes the second player to sign for the Robins this summer on a loan deal from the Baggies after teammate Finn Azaz also made the switch earlier in the window.
The 18-year-old, who celebrates his next birthday in just over three weeks, is set for his first loan spell in the game having been a part of West Brom's under-23s squad and gained international experience in the England youth teams at under-18 and under-20 level.
He is viewed as an exciting prospect at his parent club and is under contract at The Hawthorns until 2023.
Commenting on his transfer to Cheltenham Griffiths said: "It is a massive opportunity for me I think. Ever since the start of this season it's been a thing that I've been really looking forward to doing.
"Hopefully I can help the team as much as I can and progress throughout the season and end with it as a good spell."
Griffiths' player sponsorship is now available for the upcoming 2020/21 season. To sign up as his home or away kit sponsor email luke.saunders@ctfc.com to find out more.
Existing season ticket holders are also reminded that they have until this Friday at 5pm to renew their season ticket for the 2020/21 campaign.
