Teenage midfielder Tom Chamberlain has signed his first professional contract with Cheltenham Town for the 2020/21 season after graduating from the club's Academy.

A powerful midfielder who has been a part of the youth set-up at the club since a young age, he already has a first team appearance under his belt after he impressed in a Leasing.com Trophy clash at Exeter City in the early part of last season.

Chamberlain was also a part of the under-18s side that took Arsenal all the way to penalty kicks in the third round of the FA Youth Cup having knocked Eastleigh and Portsmouth out in the two previous rounds.

He started his youth football playing at local side Leckhampton Rovers but was quickly snapped up by Cheltenham where he's gone onto catch the eye through the years in different age groups.

Last season he spent time on loan at Evesham United in the Southern League Division One South.

Chamberlain has already been a part of the squad that has returned to training in the past week and will continue to wear the squad number 25 for the upcoming campaign.
