Shirt auction raises over £1,100 for NHS

7 April 2020

The online auction featuring match worn shirts from some of the club's former players raised £1,147 for the club's fundraising efforts for the NHS.

Club partners AMS Auctions hosted an auction featuring shirts worn by former Robins heroes as part of the money being raised for the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust over the course of the weekend into Monday evening.

Fans have been placing bids on shirts from the likes of former striker Neil Grayson, captain and manager Mark Yates, ex-goalkeeper Scott Brown and more to add to the total that's been accumulated from the players and management team's head shave.

In total over £4,300 has now been raised for the fundraiser which will be donated to the NHS as a show of support from the club for their amazing efforts on the front line during the coronavirus pandemic.

We would like to say thank you to Matt Stanley, Lee Baldwin, Martin Shurmer and John Berry who kindly donated the shirts that featured in the auction.

We'd also like to pass on our thanks to AMS Auctions for hosting the auction online.
