NHS fundraiser sails past £6,000

16 April 2020

The Crowdfunder to raise money for the NHS has sailed past the £6,000 mark.

For over a week now players and staff from the squads at Cheltenham Town and Gloucester Rugby have been shaving their heads to raise funds for the NHS as a show of support for their amazing work on the front line during the coronavirus pandemic.

On Tuesday evening Luke Varney became the latest Robins player to brave the shave, while club director Clive Gowing (pictured below) and Gloucester's James Hanson have also taken part after the figure reached the £6,000 mark.

Now manager Michael Duff has been challenged next if the total gets to £6,500.

If you would like to donate you can do so on the Crowfunder page online.

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far to the team's fundraising efforts.
