NHS fundraiser flies past £2,500 mark

3 April 2020

Goalkeeper coach and club legend Steve Book has become the latest player and staff member at Cheltenham Town to shave his head to raise money for the NHS.

He took on the challenge after the Crowdfunder to raise money to support the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the amazing work they are doing on the front line during the coronavirus pandemic reached the £2,500 mark.

It is now heading towards the £3,000 milestone where assistant manager Russell Milton has been nominated to next shave his head.

On Thursday evening Alex Addai became one of the latest players to do it, joining Ben Tozer, Sean Long and George Lloyd in braving the shave.

Keep an eye out this weekend also for the launch of an auction where some match worn shirts worn by some Robins heroes will be on sale having been kindly donated.

You can donate to the Crowdfunder online as we look to push the grand total up to raise as much money as possible for the NHS.
