Seàn Long is determined for this Cheltenham side to get to grips with their away form by putting a positive run of results together, starting with this weekend's game at Salford City.
The Irishman, who scored his first Robins goal in last weekend's 4-2 win over Stevenage, doesn't think that the team's away showings should be any different to the fantastic home form that has seen Cheltenham go unbeaten since January on home soil.
"We want to put a run together and when we do put a run together you never know where we might be in the table," he said ahead of this weekend's game.
"The confidence is flowing through the team when we're at home. It shouldn't be any different away from home.
"You might go through ten minute spells when they have a good period in the game. But if we're that bit braver and believe more away from home I think the performances will come."
Salford are a new face in League Two this season after they gained promotion from the National League via the play-offs last term.
Momentum is flowing at the Peninsula Stadium after their back-to-back promotions, and Long is well aware of how difficult a trip it will be at the weekend.
"I think they've only lost one game, bearing in mind they've had a couple of draws. That shows they're tough to beat," he continued.
"They are a club on the up. It is going to be a difficult game on Saturday but we'll work on things today and tomorrow and hopefully go there and get the result."
