A Salford City side that have lost only once in League Two since their promotion as National League play-off winners last season will prove hard opposition for the Robins this weekend according to boss Michael Duff.

Speaking to the media on Thursday morning at the Energy Check Training Ground, Duff is looking forward to lining up against his former Burnley teammate Graham Alexander who is in charge of Salford.

Since stepping up into League Two Salford have registered one League win, five draws and one defeat.

"They've been hard to beat. I think they've drawn five on the spin. They will be well organised, they're physical, and they are a threat," Duff said.

"They've got some good players in the top end of the pitch but their organisation proves they are difficult to beat.

"So I'm sure it'll be an interesting game. Supporters it's a new ground for them to go to and it is a team on the up - no doubt about that.

"If you look at their trajectory in the last six or seven years and it is difficult to keep it going. Make no mistake it's going to be a tough game."
