Ben Tozer has said he "wouldn't want to be part of anything else" after agreeing his new contract at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.
The 29-year-old defender signed his new deal two hours before kick-off ahead of Tuesday's 3-0 win over Macclesfield Town in the boardroom.
Speaking before the game he expressed his delight at securing his future at the club long-term.
"I'm enjoying the style of football we play and the results we've had," he said.
"With the way that we're going and everything around the club the standards have been upped massively - I wouldn't want to be part of anything else.
"When you can see something going positively well it makes a massive difference and makes it much easier to sign the contract."
