Preview: Raglan on Macclesfield

21 October 2019

Charlie Raglan is hoping the spirit in the Cheltenham Town camp will continue to drive the team on.

The Robins are seven unbeaten in League Two, and eight unbeaten in all competitions, ahead of the visit of Macclesfield Town to the Jonny-Rocks Stadium on Tuesday.

Three points on the road at Walsall on Saturday has set Raglan and his teammates up nicely for what's sure to be another tricky contest against a Macclesfield team sitting just outside the play-off zone.

"It does make things easier when you come off the back of a good result. Positivity and the atmosphere is a big thing," Raglan said to the press.

"We treat every game on its own merit and we look forward to a tough test.

"Macclesfield aren't the Macclesfield of last year where they were having a bit of a tough time.

"They still caused us a big threat in the game that I played but they've started well and for them to be in the top ten with the off-field issues they've had to face is a massive credit to them and that probably says a lot about their spirit.

"We're looking forward to it and we know that it will be a test so we can't take anyone lightly.

"We'll be aiming to be at our best."

Get behind the Robins as they go in search of three points by buying tickets online ahead of the game.

They are also on sale from the ticket office as of 10am on Tuesday and on the night at the turnstiles.
