Bowry on his loan to Bath and international commitments

18 October 2019

Dan Bowry can reflect on a busy week as he gets set to make his debut for new loan club Bath City on Saturday.

The 21-year-old flew back from the West Indies earlier this week having represented Antigua & Barbuda in back-to-back CONCACAF Nations League clashes with Guyana.

The Benna Boys experienced mixed fortunes across their two games with Bowry representing his country in both fixtures.

And now he has linked up with a Bath side managed by former Robins defender Jerry Gill to help play a part in their National League South campaign.

"I can't wait," he said. "Starting tomorrow at St Albans. It should be a good experience to get some valuable game time under my belt."

Commenting on his recent international involvement he added: "It was a good experience over there against a strong Guyana side.

"The first game we won 2-1, the second we lost 5-1, but it was a decent experience on both parts."
