Robins fans can now vote for their October Autovillage Player of the Month on social media.
Every month this season supporters will be able to choose who they think has been the top performer in Cheltenham's first-team squad from a selected shortlist.
Michael Duff's side played four times during the third month of the 2019/20 season, but only faced three League Two fixtures after their matches against Newport County and Grimsby Town were postponed.
October's candidates are:
- Ben Tozer
- Jonte Smith
- Ryan Broom
- Luke Varney
Supporters can vote in our Twitter poll here or comment their choice of player on Facebook.
Skipper Ben Tozer played an integeral role as always in helping the club pick up seven points from a possible nine in league action.
Also nominated for the League Two Player of the Month award, Tozer continued his run of playing in every fourth tier fixture so far this term and scored the opener in a 2-1 away victory at Walsall - as the Robins were cheered on by over 700 away fans.
Striker Jonte Smith came off the bench and made a positive impact in a 1-1 draw at Oldham at the start of the month, but opened his scoring account in a stylish display the following match.
The former Oxford United man put West Ham United U21s to the sword with a well taken hat-trick in a 4-3 Leasing.com Trophy victory, also coming off the bench to set up Ryan Broom for the third goal against Macclesfield.
Welshman Broom kept up his fine start to the campaign with two more goals against Oldham and the Silkmen, the energetic midfielder won last month's award.
Veteran striker Luke Varney netted twice in October, first sparking great celebrations in front of the away end as he smashed home the winning goal at Walsall, before netting three days later in the 3-0 success over Macclesfield.
Our close friends at Autovillage are kindly sponsoring the Player of the Month award again in 2019/20 as our partnership continues with the car sales company based in Gotherington.
