Preview: Raglan on Forest Green

1 November 2019

Charlie Raglan will be hoping to make his previous derby day experience count on Saturday as Forest Green Rovers get set to visit the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

The defender is looking forward to his first Gloucestershire derby in a Robins shirt, but is aiming to use his previous experience of derby matches in what's sure to be a feisty encounter this weekend.

Speaking at the club's visit to the LUKE 1977 store in the Brewery Quarter on Thursday, he can't wait to play in front of the biggest crowd of the season in a third against fourth clash.

"It's a big game for the fans," he said. "I've not been here very long but I know everything about it.

"I've been fortunate enough to play in a couple of big derby matches in my career for different clubs and I'm looking forward to this one.

"Hopefully it'll be a big crowd, a good atmosphere, and another win would be lovely."

Tickets for Saturday's match are on sale at the ticket office until 3pm today. They can also be bought online at any time.

There's limited seating availability in the Colin Farmer Stand with spaces still available in blocks 2, 6 and 7. There is still a reasonable amount of standing on sale.

Fans are being urged to get to the stadium early due to the size of the crowd attending the match. Those collecting tickets are advised to leave good time to collect their tickets from the collection point.

Those wanting to make the most of a whole matchday at the Jonny-Rocks can watch the Rugby World Cup final in the morning in the Robins Nest while enjoying a cooked breakfast. The doors open from 8am and the bar will also be open.
