Michael Duff has been keen to point out just how tight a game Saturday's home clash with Colchester United could be with the U's only three points behind his side.
Carabao Cup quarter finalists Colchester United are one of a group of teams who will be eyeing the opportunity to get up into the play-off places with victories on the weekend.
To do that Duff is hoping that his side can bring through the qualities that see them boast some of the best attacking and defensive records in the division to try and get a positive result on Saturday.
"They are normally in and around it," Duff said when describing Saturday's opposition
"They've had a couple of good cup games this year and they're on another run again.
"If they can come here and beat us they go level with us. People have said what a good start we've had to the season - if they beat us Saturday then they've had the same so it's another tough game.
"We've lost one game in the league since January at home and people are saying you need to get back on it. Someone told me we were having a blip.
"I think we're the second top goal scorers and have the third best defensive record. That's not a bad blip for Cheltenham Town I think.
"It's not us being arrogant. I don't think we're the real deal at all. We have to turn up a hundred per cent all the time and that's what we'll need to be doing so we can get back to winning ways."
