Season Tickets 2019/20: prices cut – we are #MadeofCheltenham

27 May 2019

April 22, 1999. 9:56pm.

The moment Cheltenham Town's promising young defender Michael Duff leapt to meet Keith Knight's free-kick and power home a header, dramatically clinching promotion to the Football League for the first time in the club's 112-year history.

We've come a long way since then. Success against all the odds. Famous days against the big boys. And of course, the lows. It's all part of the Cheltenham Town story and we've done it together.

To mark the anniversary, we're cutting this year's adult and senior season ticket prices by £20 to acknowledge your incredible support down the years. Thank you.

Led by the man who started it all with that header two decades ago, we're building a community club for the future with a big focus on families and young supporters.

We're introducing a competitive new season ticket for fans aged 16-22 and offering all under-16s a free match shirt when they sign up for the new season. Let's paint the town red and white.

And with the new club season ticket you can roar on Cheltenham Town Ladies in their National League campaign this World Cup year. Come on you Robins!

We are Town. Together we're Made of Cheltenham.

All the details on Season Tickets for 2019/20 can be found below with the full pricing structure at the bottom of the page.

20 for 20: Price reduction for adults and seniors

The club are making a price reduction for the first time in eight years as Early Bird figures for adults and seniors will be dropped by £20 from last year.

In both standing and seating areas of the Jonny-Rocks Stadium, Early Bird season ticket prices are subject to this discount but after the Early Bird deadline on Friday 31 May the prices will return to the frozen amount from last season.

Introduction of 16-22 age range exclusively for season tickets

Another change that the club are making this year is by introducing a new age bracket that is only available as a season ticket and will be affordable for young adults between the ages of 16 and 22.

This allows the owner to watch all 23 league matches with standing season ticket on the terraces (Paddock, Tunnel and Speedy Skips End) costing £70, which works out at £3.04 per game.

A seating season ticket in either the Autovillage Stand or Colin Farmer Stand costs £95, which works out at £4.10 per game.

This offer also applies to students that are aged 22 or younger.

Mature students added to the concession price range

To help bridge the gap between the 16-22 bracket and full adult price, students that are aged 23 or older will pay the same concession rate as senior citizens.

Like adults and seniors, this will mean that there is £20 off last season’s concession rate if purchased before the Early Bird deadline on Friday 31 May.

Painting the town red and white: Free shirt for all under-16s

Whilst we are celebrating the past, it’s important to look towards the future.

We at the club and manager Michael Duff want to reaffirm the connection with the local community, so every child under-16 that purchases a season ticket will receive a FREE official Cheltenham Town home or away shirt if bought before the Early Bird deadline.

An under-16 season ticket costs just £45, which works out at just £1.95 per game and includes a voucher that allows for the shirt to be redeemed at the club shop based at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

Please note that all season ticket category purchases are subject to a £5 admin fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I pay in monthly instalments?

Unfortunately Zebra Finance, the company that enabled us to previously offer monthly payments, has encountered difficulties in recent months and it is an issue that has been affecting a number of clubs. As such we don't currently have a way of offering a service to enable payment by instalments. We have been in touch with all of the supporters that used this service last summer to explain and we are busy behind the scenes to identify an alternative service. We will communicate this information as soon as we have it. Please get in touch with us at if this has affected you and we will do our best to resolve this.

What has happened to the Junior Robins scheme?

We have re-branded our ticket structure and have introduced new categories including the under-16s, which covers all junior supporters. The club will be revamping the Junior Robins scheme later in the summer as part of the work to improve the experience for our younger supporters.

When will the matchday prices be announced?

We will be revealing matchday prices next week with full details announced after the Easter weekend.

What will happen to my seat if I am an existing season ticket holder?

Existing season ticket holders will have their seats reserved until the close of play on Friday 14th June. After this date, they will be released on general sale.

Where and when can I purchase my 2019/20 season ticket?

You can purchase your season ticket in one of three ways; either online at, over the phone on 01242573558 (option 1) or from the Ticket Office in person. Standard Ticket Office opening hours are 10am-3pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Why is there a £5 admin fee on all season ticket purchases?

This covers the charge made to us by our ticket provider and various expenses in relation to processing season tickets such as printing and banking.

Why is has the price increased for junior season tickets?

In order to comply with Football League regulations, we had to increase the price of the Junior Robins membership, with that in mind we decided to bring in an entirely new structure for ticket pricing including the introduction of the under-16 category. The previous Junior Robins scheme applied only to under-12s, but our new category goes up to under-16s and includes a free home or brand-new away shirt set to be revealed this summer.

How do I get my free shirt with the under-16 season ticket?

Once purchased either online, over the phone or in person. Each under-16 season ticket will come with a voucher that allows for the shirt to be redeemed in the club shop. We will require the size of the shirt needed for the under-16 and they will be ordered in ready for collection at the start of new season.

Will I be able to get a free shirt with my under-16 season ticket all season?

The free shirts are only part of the offer up until the Early Bird deadline on Friday 31 May.

What are the sizing guides for my free shirt?

Please see a sizing guide for the free under-16 shirt in the table below.
