With Cheltenham heading into their final game of the season on Saturday, and facing a Stevenage side contending for a place in the League Two play-offs, boss Michael Duff is keen that his Robins side have their say in how events turn out at the weekend.

Duff is determined that his group of players are up for the challenge at the Lamex Stadium so that they can end the campaign on a good note in front of the club's travelling supporters.

It was all the way back in October when Stevenage claimed all three points at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium with a 2-0 win, and with both teams having adapted over the course of the season, it's a good chance on Saturday for Cheltenham to get their own back from the two teams last meeting.

"We want to win every game," Duff said on Thursday morning. "Our last away performance was a disappointing one. It's not a bad game to be involved in because Stevenage have obviously got a squeak of the play-offs.

"If we turn up and think we'll just go through the motions we'll get beaten again, as we did at Morecambe. We are looking for a reaction from that.

"It's a good game to be involved in. This isn't a mid-table stalemate sort of thing, there is something for them to play off, which generally means you get something out of the other team as well because of the competitiveness of the occasion."
