Date announced for this summer's open day

28 May 2019

We're very excited to announce the first details of this year's 'open day' at Seasons, our training ground on Sunday, July 28 (11am - 1pm).

This summer's new-look event will have a strong focus on the participation of our young supporters and interaction with boss Michael Duff and the first team squad.

Unlike in previous years the playing staff will not be training but they will be on hand to meet with supporters, take pictures and chat about about the forthcoming season, which will get underway the following weekend.

Meanwhile our coaches from the Community Trust, Academy and Cheltenham Town Ladies will be out in force to host open training sessions for children of all abilities from the ages of four to 16. The emphasis is firmly on inclusivity and having fun!

As usual the speed gun will be up and running for hotshot fans and there will be a Q&A with a panel made up of Michael, selected players and members of the board before the event closes with a very special match.

To mark the 20th anniversary this summer of our promotion to the Football League, we're putting together a legends' side to face a squad of season ticket holders, thanks to the Cheltenham Town Former Players' Association.

There will be a chance to meet some of the club's new partners on the eve of the new campaign. Of course we'll share all of the details over the coming weeks but for now, add us to your calendar and watch this space.

  • Early Bird season tickets for the 2019/20 campaign are still available to buy ahead of the deadline this Friday (May 31, midnight). Adult prices have been cut, there's a new age category for 16 to 22-year-olds and under-16s receive a free shirt as part of the offer.
