Level Playing Field: Community Trust's disability teams celebrated against Notts County

11 March 2019

Members of the Cheltenham Town Community Trust's adult and youth disability teams were celebrated as part of Level Playing Field's Weeks of Action at the Notts County game on Saturday.

From the 2-17 March, there has been array of matchday and non-matchday activities hosted by EFL clubs up and down the country that shine a light on the good work that is done to improve the enjoyment and experience of disabled sports fans.

Along with plenty of other initiatives, the Community Trust's adult disability team is now in its tenth season with more players than ever attending sessions.

The Trust have four teams that compete in different variations of the Gloucestershire FA Ability Counts League, who play in monthly competitions representing the club.

Members of the adult and youth disability teams were given tickets and enjoyed an emphatic 4-1 victory on Saturday, as Michael Duff's Robins continued their fine home form at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium against the Magpies.
