Preview: Broom on Bury

5 March 2019

Ryan Broom is hoping him and his Cheltenham Town teammates can produce an improved performance on the last time they faced tonight's opponents Bury earlier in the season when the Shakers visit the Jonny-Rocks Stadium this evening (kick-off: 7.45pm).

The summer of 2018 signing from Bristol Rovers was a part of the Robins squad that were hit by a 4-1 defeat by Bury earlier in the campaign.

Michael Duff's side are a much improved unit since then and Broom wants the Robins to show that when they clash this evening.

"Obviously we went up to their place and they played very well on the night so we'll be hoping to do a lot better than we did away from home. Hopefully we could turn it around and have a good performance," Broom said.

"They are good technical players so hopefully what we do will overcome that.

"Our home form has been really good so you like to think whatever team we come up against we'll be confident and we can get a result."
