Under-18s duo Will Dawes and Tyreece Briscoe both helped Tuffley Rovers to a noteworthy Hellenic Premier Division win on Saturday.

The midfield pair helped the Glevum Park side to a 1-0 home win against divisional leaders Brimscombe & Thrupp.

For the first team players out on loan this weekend, there was only one involved in matchday action with Liam McAlinden playing the full 90 minutes for Kidderminster Harriers in their 3-0 defeat at Chorley.

Left back Josh Debayo was an unused substitute in Dover’s 3-2 loss at Hartlepool United, Tom Smith wasn’t involved in the Bath squad that won 3-0 at Hemel Hempstead Town, and Manny Duku’s National League fixture with FC Halifax against Ebbsfleet United was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch – the Dutch front man did score for Halifax in their midweek win over his former loan club, Barnet.

The remaining under-18s in loan action saw two players feature for Lydney Town in the Hellenic Premier Division. Tom Handley started in their 2-1 home defeat to in form Shrivenham, while goalkeeper Freddie Lapworth made his debut for Lydney too after a recent loan stint at Gloucester City.

Defender Ioan Richards played for Slimbridge in their dramatic 4-3 victory over AFC Totton, with the Swans scoring three goals in the final ten minutes to secure three points. An injury ruled Archie Brennan out of being part of the Swans squad.
