Robins midfielder Kevin Dawson has been named as the Autovillage Player of the Month for February by supporters in our social media poll with 42% of the vote.
The Irishman narrowly beat January's winner Luke Varney to the award in a shortlist including consistent wing-back Chris Hussey and centre-back Charlie Raglan.
Dawson started the month with a substitute appearance against former club Yeovil Town as the Robins beat the Glovers 1-0 at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium, he was a mainstay in the team thereafter.
Since returning from injury, the energetic midfielder has impressed with his relentless pressing and presence as one of the Robins' three central midfielders in the 3-5-2 system implemented by manager Michael Duff.
Dawson's most impressive performances last month were saved for home matches, where Cheltenham picked up maximum points vs Yeovil, Cambridge United and Port Vale.
He was presented with his award at the Energy Check Training Ground as Autovillage continue to proudly sponsor Player of the Month this season.
