Gloucestershire’s leading used car centre, Completely Motoring, are celebrating the first of three seasons as sponsors of the Colin Farmer Stand at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium, home of Cheltenham Town Football Club.
Long-term supporters of the Robins, the family run business agreed a three-year sponsorship until the end of the 2020-2021 season last summer and have seen their company logo adorn the largest stand at the club’s stadium this season.
Formed in 2009, Completely Motoring have showrooms in Staverton and a new site on Bristol Road in Gloucester.
They are celebrating their tenth anniversary this year and boast a reputation as the counties most successful used vehicle specialists.
In December 2016 they also expanded into the opening of ‘Completely Motorbikes’, with sites based in both Staverton and Cheltenham operating as one of the leading superbike centres in the UK.
The sponsorship of the stand, named in memory of former long-standing vice-chairman Colin Farmer, is particularly poignant as Colin himself worked in car sales and was a good friend of Completely Motoring’s Managing Director, Rob Ayland.
Commenting on the sponsorship agreement, Ayland said: “I have commercially helped the club since the 1990s, in fact my first car sponsorship was for Mike Duff in 1997! We have supplied over 30 vehicles to the players and staff over the last couple of years, always making sure that they get a great deal. I am lucky enough to have had Colin Farmer as a friend, and to be able to sponsor the stand for the next three years is a real honour.
"After winning Gloucestershire Family Business of the Year in October 2017, we are delighted to have furthered our relationship with Cheltenham Town who we see as part of our extended family locally.”
