Duku leaves Cheltenham Town

12 June 2019

Manny Duku has today left Cheltenham Town and joined National League side Torquay United on a free transfer.

The forward, who has been on the transfer list since the end of last season, moves to Plainmoor after a one-season stay at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

In total he made 11 appearances for the Robins, scoring once in a 1-1 away draw at Macclesfield Town.

The 26-year-old Dutchman made the step up to join the club from Bostik League Hayes & Yeading United, however spent much of the campaign out on loan in the National League with the likes of Barnet and FC Halifax Town.

Torquay have recently regained promotion to the National League and Duku will link up with them for their first season back at that level.
