Tom Smith has transferred to National League South side Bath City after an agreement was reached to cancel his contract.
The 21-year-old re-joins the Romans where he spent the majority of the 2018/19 campaign on loan under former Cheltenham defender Jerry Gill.
Signed from Swindon Town in the summer of 2018, the midfielder made one first team appearance for the Robins in a Carabao Cup penalty shootout win over Colchester United.
He moves permanently to Twerton Park having helped Bath reach the National League South play-offs last term.
