Cheltenham Town hosted their annual cricket day at the Cheltenham Festival yesterday as Gloucestershire played Leicestershire at Cheltenham College.
Robins fans, club commercial partners and members of the board of directors including chairman Andy Wilcox attended a fun-filled afternoon in the sun alongside a number of first-team players, former players and club staff on day one of the festival.
Over 250 people attended in the club marquee, which is the largest number to date at the event which was kindly sponsored by Completely Motoring for the second year in a row.
Completely Motoring Motorbikes were also displaying the latest Yamaha, which can be seen in the gallery above.
Cheltenham Town Commercial Manager John Finnigan said: "It's an annual event for the club and was a great day for our supporters and sponsors to join us as we head into the new season.
"Michael Duff, Russell Milton and four or five players were in attendance and all on good form engaging with our guests which was great to see.
"I must say a huge thank you to everyone that joined us to make it such a great occasion with special thanks to long term supporters Rob, James and George Ayland of Completely Motoring and Completely Motorbikes for sponsoring the event for the second year in a row.
"Huge thank you’s also to Lee Martin and his excellent team at Pig On The Hill who laid on some fantastic food throughout the day.
"I’d also like to thank Mark Cuzner, Martin Miles, Luke Saunders, Jeff Watson and his bar staff who grafted away all day in the heat to make sure our guests were well looked after. I’m already looking forward to next year’s event."
The hog roast supplied by Pig on the Hill at lunchtime was followed by a raffle with plenty of exciting prizes.
