Cheltenham Town academy graduate George Lloyd found the back of the net on Wednesday night as he returned to his former loan club with the Robins.
The speedy attacker scored Michael Duff's side's second goal in a 2-2 draw with a Bulls outfit that he had two loan spells with last season.
He is looking ahead to another campaign as part of the first team squad at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium and saw some good signs, and some areas for improvement, in Wednesday's performance.
"I thought in the first half we played really good football. I thought we dominated well, kept our shape really well," he said.
"In the second half we all said we weren't where we were in the first half and we let our standards slip.
"It's pre-season, maybe we felt a bit leggy, but we are better than that in the second half and we need to put that right."
