Ince on joining Cheltenham

4 July 2019

New arrival Rohan Ince signed on the dotted line to become a Cheltenham Town player on Tuesday, and the midfielder is happy to have been offered the opportunity to get back out on the pitch as a member of the Robins squad for the upcoming season.

The former Chelsea, Fulham and Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder missed the 2018/19 campaign with a knee problem, but having passed a number of thorough fitness tests is ready and raring to go for the new League Two campaign.

"I'm happy to be here," he said. "They're a great bunch of lads. I've been speaking to Michael Duff a lot and he seems pleased to have me.

"I've had a lot of time off due to a knee injury but I'm all good to go now. I've been here since day one and it's been a good test.

"I've put up with everything and I am ready to go."

Ince has signed a one-year deal at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium and is the club's fourth summer signing.
