Reaction: Forster on Yeovil win

2 January 2019

Jordon Forster found himself on the scoresheet in a Robins shirt for the first time in the New Year's Day win over Yeovil Town at Huish Park.

The former Hibernian defender netted Michael Duff's sides third goals in a 4-1 success in Somerset, making it seven unbeaten in all competitions.

Forster was happy to break his Cheltenham duck but highlighted after the game how important the squad recognised the fixture was when he spoke to the press.

"I was delighted to get a goal today and obviously much more happy to get the three points. It was a massive game and everyone in that dressing room knew how big a game this was here today," Forster said.

"We never played brilliantly. I think in spells we played well but we never dominated the game as much as we wanted but 4-1 away from home on New Year's Day is always a good result."
