Preview: Flinders on Macclesfield

Goalkeeper Scott Flinders feels the Robins need to get back to basics ahead of a huge encounter against one of his former clubs on Saturday.

The experienced shot-stopper will line up for Michael Duff's side against a Macclesfield Town outfit he represented during the 2016-17 season.

During that campaign he helped the Silkmen to the FA Trophy final at Wembley, only to lose against another of his former clubs in the shape of York City.

He's eyeing up Saturday's fixture as a key game for him and his teammates though as they look to get back on track with a huge clash against a team just two points behind the Robins.

"We need to get back to the basics of playing our game for the full 90 minutes," Flinders said.

"The camp is still a happy camp - we haven't become a bad team overnight - but we've got three massive games now and hopefully home advantage as well because we've been doing well at home of late.

"It's going to be a tough and good game, I'm looking forward to it. With the three games coming up it will give us a lot of confidence if we can pick some points up."
