Loan watch: Smith helps Romans to victory

There was a goal for Tom Smith in Bath City’s 2-0 away victory over Dulwich Hamlet on the weekend as the midfielder shone once again for the Romans who are riding high in the National League South play-off positions.

Smith notched with a second half strike to help Jerry Gill’s team to victory. Elsewhere Liam McAlinden played the full 90 minutes for Brackley Town in their National League North win over Ashton United.

Josh Debayo started and played the whole game for Dover Athletic in their noteworthy 1-0 away win over Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground.

The under-18s were busy once again in their respective loan action. Camden Duncan and Tom Handley both played the full game for Lydney Town in their 4-0 Hellenic Premier Division away victory over Reading City in Berkshire. Duncan claimed an assist while Handley was handed the captains armband.

In the same division Will Dawes and Tyreece Briscoe both featured in Tuffley Rovers 3-3 draw with Holmer Green at Glevum Park.

In the Evo-Stik Southern League South Division, Archie Brennan and Ioan Richards both played the full game in Slimbridge’s 1-0 home win over last season’s FA Vase winners Thatcham Town.

Olly Price was a second half substitute for Westfields in their Total Motion Midland Football League draw at Quorn in Leicestershire.
