Reaction: Hussey on Grimsby

17 February 2019

Chris Hussey felt the Robins were left hard done by to not take something from Saturday's visit to Grimsby.

The former Sheffield United man spoke to the media after the match to reflect on the 1-0 loss at Blundell Park, where former Robins forward Wes Thomas decided the full time result with a penalty late in the first half.

"I thought it was a 0-0 game today, there was not much in the game," Hussey said.

"I thought we moved the ball well at times, especially playing away from home against them, and we dealt with their front two. Playing in a back three it felt comfortable.

"Football is fine margins and I know it's a results business, but performance wise Scotty [Flinders] has not had much to do. We've worked all week about shape and when the gaffer is telling you what to do as a defender you're going to listen because he's had a good career playing centre-half.

"It was a step in the right direction but I'm frustrated we didn't get anything from the game. I'll take part responsibility for that."
