McAlinden extends Kidderminster stay

21 February 2019

Liam McAlinden has extended his loan spell at Kidderminster Harriers until the end of the season.

The front man joined former Cheltenham manager Mark Yates' side in mid-January and has so far made four appearances for the National League North outfit.

He first signed at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium in July 2018 on a two-year deal and has made eight first team appearances for the Robins.

His debut came on the opening day of the season in the 1-0 loss to Crawley Town, and he has made six League Two appearances with a Checkatrade Trophy and Carabao Cup appearance too.

Earlier in the campaign he spent time on loan at Harriers league rivals Brackley Town, and the former Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker will now see out the rest of the campaign in the same division at Aggborough.

Kidderminster sit 10th and make the long journey north to 11th place Blyth Spartans this weekend.
