11 February 2019

Liam McAlinden helped Kidderminster Harriers to an impressive 4-1 win over Chester at the weekend.

The forward helped former Robins boss Mark Yates and his side overtake their opponents and stay in touch with the National League North play-off places.

In the same division George Lloyd, who celebrates his 19th birthday today, featured for 68 minutes in Hereford's 2-2 draw at Leamington.

Elsewhere in the National League Josh Debayo played 64 minutes in Dover Athletic's 3-2 home loss to Harrogate Town, while Tom Smith started in Bath City's 3-0 loss at Dartford in Kent.

From the under-18s scholars currently out on loan at the weekend, Archie Brennan and Ioan Richards both started in Slimbridge's 2-2 home draw with Cirencester Town. Tom Handley scored but was a part of the Lydney Town squad that lost on penalty kicks at The Gore to Burnham in the Bluefin Sports Supplementary Cup.

In the Total Motion Midland Football League, Grant Horton started in Worcester City's 4-3 loss at Loughborough University, while Olly Price's Westfields were without a game due to a postponement. It was the same story for Miles Scott in the Toolstation Western League with Bitton, and for Freddie Lapworth with Gloucester City in the National League South.

Midfield pair Will Dawes and Tyreece Briscoe both featured for Tuffley Rovers in their noteworthy 1-1 away draw at Ascot United.
