Community: Robins coaches visit Swindon Village Primary School

6 February 2019

The Cheltenham Town Community Trust visited Swindon Village Primary School earlier this week to deliver an assembly based on ‘playing the right way.’

Members of the Community Trust and club mascot Whaddney the Robin took the assembly and interacted with the children, teaching them ten positive behaviour traits.

The assembly was based on the Premier League Primary Stars key values; Be Ambitious, Be Inspiring, Be Connected & Be Fair.

Whaddney concluded the assembly by showing off his dance moves and handed out 430 ticket vouchers to the pupils for the Port Vale game on Saturday 23rd February 2019.

This was the latest initiative in helping reach the target of getting over 5,000 children through the gates at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

Many school children from across the county have already make an impression with their fantastic support in the Family Section this season, which is located in Block 1 of the Colin Farmer Stand.
