Deadline day signing Rakish Bingham says he can't wait to get going back in English football after signing from Hamilton Academical on a contract until the end of the season.

After two-and-a-half seasons in the Scottish top flight the former Wigan Athletic youngster is back in the English Football League having made the switch to the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

Speaking about his move to the club and his return to England Bingham said: "I'm ready to get going and I'm quite excited. I'm happy it's over the line now and I just want to get playing some football and get going.

"I'm buzzing to be back - it's closer to home from where I'm from and it's a good feeling to be back home.

"I had a great spell at Hamilton Football Club playing at places like Parkhead and Ibrox - it gives you an experience that not everyone can say they've done. I feel it has put me in good stead and given me the experience to come back and come on some new adventures."
