Under-18s visit Cheltenham Open Door

24 December 2019

Players and staff from the under-18s squad have been helping to support a local charitable organisation in the town in the lead up to Christmas.

They headed to Cheltenham Open Door on Grovesnor Street on Thursday 19 December to assist with the fantastic work the charity do to help vulnerable, disadvantaged and lonely people all year round, especially at this time of year.

Founded in 1992, the charity work to relieve poverty, hardship and social or emotional distress and are an invaluable organisation providing support for many people in Cheltenham.

The players and staff worked in two different groups over the course of the day to pack clothes that had been donated to the charity.

Donations from the under-18s and the whole Robins academy set-up were also made.

Watch above on iFollow to see what they got up to with Tom Chamberlain and Isaac Lawrence sharing their experiences of helping out at their headquarters in the town.
