Under-18s: Arsenal visit the Jonny-Rocks Stadium tonight

18 December 2019

Cheltenham Town under-18s take on Arsenal under-18s in one of the ties of this year's FA Youth Cup third round at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium this evening (kick-off: 7pm).

The under-18s prize for getting past Eastleigh and Portsmouth in the first and second rounds of this year's competition is the chance to take on the young Gunners.

Arsenal play in the Under-18s Premier League South alongside the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Leicester City and tonight's tie is their first in this year's competition.

With category one status, Arsenal boast one of the leading academy set-ups in English football and the likes of Ashley Cole, Jack Wilshere and Serge Gnabry have all progressed through their ranks.

Under-18s manager Pete Haynes said: "There’s very much an underdog mentality about the group. The players need to trust the process, themselves and each other.

"There’s definitely a bit of a buzz around the group which is good and the way they dispatched Portsmouth and the way we played against Eastleigh there’s a real confidence at home that they can do what they need to do to win the game."

Ticket prices for the match tonight are:

Adults £5

Concessions £2

Tonight the Autovillage Stand, Paddock and Hazlewoods Stand will be open for supporters.

The under-18s need your support this evening and there's a great chance to watch the future Arsenal stars of the future too.

Kick-off is at 7pm under the lights at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.
