Michael Duff will be preparing his Cheltenham Town side for a Cambridge United outfit this week who boast the ability to vary their approach when it comes to facing different opposition in League Two.

The U's changed their shape for an impressive victory over Plymouth Argyle last weekend and will travel to the Jonny-Rocks Stadium on Saturday just four points off the play-off places.

The Robins themselves are in a confident mood after earning all three points on the road at Mansfield Town last time out with a convincing 3-0 win.

"They've been playing a three, similar to us, a lot this season," Duff said of Saturday's opponents.

"Last week they played a back four and played a diamond in the middle of the park and beat Plymouth who are one of the better teams in the league. I've said it all along I think they'll come good and they are coming good at the minute.

"That was a really good result against a back three so we're not quite sure what they will do but it shows they've got versatility in what they can do. They've got really good energy in the team.

"I think they're similar to us and similar to Port Vale really - a team that probably struggled a little bit last year and probably surprised a few people and that's not disrespectful because I think we're exactly the same.

"They are doing better than what a lot of people would have thought last year."
