Robins manager Michael Duff has highlighted the strength in Tuesday's opponents Carlisle United ahead of the second home game of the season at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

Speaking to the press on Monday morning at the Energy Check Training Ground, Duff emphasised Carlisle's recent Carabao Cup away win at Barnsley, ahead of what's set to be the first of two big home games for Cheltenham.

Tuesday's fixture follows Saturday's goalless draw at Morecambe, which saw Duff's side pick up their first clean sheet of the season.

"Steve [Pressley] has brought in a lot of players," Duff said when asked about Tuesday's opposition. "It is definitely more his team now I think. They went to Swindon and it was nip and tuck, 3-2, Swindon are an excellent team.

"They had a really good result at Barnsley in the week beating a Championship club 3-0 away from home shows that there is quality in the group.

"They've brought in the young lad [Elias] Sørensen from Newcastle. He's a very good player and someone we were interested in January and in the summer. He went away with the first team and I think he may come into the team. He'll give them good legs and a real goal threat.

"Make no mistake it's a League Two game. I don't think any manager will sit in front of you and say today is going to be really. It's not - every team beats every teams in this league.

"I think it already shows you because I'm not sure there's a 100% record yet after three games but it probably tells you everything about the league."
