Robins defender Will Boyle has been presented with an award by the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) in recognition of his support for the Cheltenham Town Community Trust during the 2018/19 season.
Community Trust Manager Olly Roberts presented Boyle with his Community Champion Award at the Energy Check Training Ground this afternoon, on behalf of the PFA.
The PFA Community Champion Award aims to raise awareness of the great support that PFA members provide to their club’s community activities during the season.
Boyle has supported several events this season, including a recent visit to Springbank Primary Academy on World Poetry Day, which you can watch on iFollow by clicking here.
"We were absolutely delighted to present Will with his PFA Community Champion award today," said Roberts.
"Will has been involved with many of our programmes and is always happy to go above and beyond in terms of engagement with the community and is a popular character.
"He has helped ensure that other players have got involved, is a great role model at every event he attends and has been an outstanding ambassador for our Premier League Primary Stars Project."
