Reaction: Lloyd on the draw at Lincoln City

13 April 2019

Apologies, this video is unvailable.

Second half substitute George Lloyd spoke to the media after scoring his first goal of the season with a brilliant second half header to earn the Robins a draw with Lincoln City.

A point was still enough for the Imps to seal promotion to Sky Bet League One but Danny Cowley's side couldn't manage a win at a sold out Sincil Bank after an impressive second half display from Cheltenham.

Lloyd cancelled out Shay McCartan's first half opener in the 73rd minute, meeting Chris Hussey's pin-point cross to power a bullet header into the top corner.

"I've been working a lot on timing with headers from crosses from Huss (Chris Hussey), Longy (Sean Long) and Broomy (Ryan Broom)," said the 19-year-old academy graduate.

"It was good to do that by timing my runs into the box and getting onto the ball before the defenders so that goal was a kind of mirror image of what the gaffer has been working on, so it was good to do."
