Reaction: Dawson on Swindon

Kevin Dawson was thrilled to extend Cheltenham's excellent home form in the Robins final fixture at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium this season.

The Irishman scored alongside Billy Waters and Luke Woolfenden's own goal to ensure the club's fantastic home form continued right to the end.

Michael Duff's side ended the campaign on a ten-match unbeaten run at the Jonny-Rocks, and Dawson has helped play a key role in that since his return to the team from injury.

"We started slow but we took over," Dawson said post-match. "We did well first half. We dismantled them. We had a lot of joy.

"Second half, we had chances to kill the game but it didn't come. They're always going to get one but it's a bit more panic than it looked but it was definitely comfortable.

"I'm delighted to get the three points. It keeps the record at home going.

"We've turned this place into a fortress and it has been brilliant to play at. The fans coming out is fantastic so I'm delighted for them as well."
