Reaction: Bingham on Exeter

7 April 2019

Rakish Bingham came close to helping Cheltenham to what would have been another outstanding home result on Saturday against Exeter City.

The January signing was denied on a couple of occasions in the second half against the Grecians, as both sides settled for a point in a lively 1-1 draw at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

It was a result that keeps up the Robins excellent unbeaten home record in 2019, and was another marker in the eyes of Bingham of how far this team has come.

"It probably wasn't our best performance as a team but I think we created enough chances to take all three points," he said.

"It shows how far we've come because we're gutted to be coming in drawing against a team that's in the play-offs. So credit to the lads and the team.

"It was a little bit frustrating for me. I'm getting in the positions and getting the chances - that's all I can do at the minute. Hopefully eventually they'll start going in."

Bingham will be looking to help the Robins cause an upset on the road next time out when Lincoln City are the opposition at their Sincil Bank home next Saturday (13 April). Tickets and away travel can be purchased from the ticket office this week and pricing details are available here.
