Robins midfielder Conor Thomas faced the media at the pre-match press conference this morning ahead of Cheltenham Town’s visit to Lincoln City on Saturday afternoon.
The 25-year-old was chosen as Player of the Match by sponsors last weekend as his penalty helped the Robins to a 1-1 draw with play-off contenders Exeter City at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.
Thomas is hoping that his performace against the Grecians could earn him another starting place versus promotion hopefuls Lincoln, who sit top of the table ahead of this weekend’s clash at Sincil Bank.
“We want to go there and try and spoil the party,” said the former Coventry City and Swindon Town man.
“I’m sure it will be a great atmosphere. I’ve never been there before myself so I’m looking forward to hopefully playing in the stadium and it’s one we’re all looking forward too.”
