Loan watch: Dawes clinches win for Tuffley

Will Dawes was the goal scoring hero for Tuffley Rovers on Saturday as the second year scholar continued to help the Gloucester side pull away from the Hellenic Premier Division relegation zone.

The forward thinking midfielder popped up with their winner in a 2-1 victory over ninth place Binfield in a match that also saw Tyreece Briscoe feature.

Forward Liam McAlinden claimed an assist for Mark Yates' Kidderminster Harriers side in their National League North 2-1 defeat at Altrincham. His header helped set up Joe Ironside's first half goal in Greater Manchester.

After extending his loan at National League FC Halifax Town until the end of the season, Manny Duku couldn't help the Shaymen gain any home points against Maidenhead United as the Dutch striker played the full game in a 1-0 loss.

Tom Smith played the whole 90 minutes for Bath City in a high end clash in the National League South. The midfielder helped Jerry Gill's men to a 1-1 draw against second place Woking. Josh Debayo wasn't involved in Dover Athletic's draw at Solihull Moors.

From the remaining under-18s out on loan, Ioan Richards and Archie Brennan were without a game for Slimbridge who weren't in action, however Tom Handley and Freddie Lapworth both played for Lydney Town.

Their Hellenic Premier Division fixture at Windsor's Stag Meadow finished in a 1-0 defeat with the pair both starting.
