Community: Bower and Lovett visit Easter Holiday Camp

23 April 2019

Cheltenham Town players Matt Bower and Rhys Lovett joined Community Trust coaches at St James Primary School last week on one of their Easter Holiday camps.

The Community Trust have spent the last two weeks delivering their extremely popular football holiday camps, with up to 100 children attending each one over the Easter break.

Courses were held in Cheltenham, Bishops Cleeve and Fairford. Each day runs from 9am-3pm and offer both boys and girls aged 5-12 a full day of footballing fun.

The day consisted of skills in the morning, followed by tournaments and challenges in the afternoon before the children were treated with a visit from local centre-back Bower and goalkeeper Lovett.

Both players answered questions in a Q&A session before signing autographs and match programmes, which contained posters advertising the club's 2019/20 season ticket campaign.

Children under the age of 16 get a free replica shirt with every season ticket for next season.

Lovett joined striker George Lloyd at another holiday course the week before, which you can read about by clicking here.
