Reaction: Michael Duff has 'no complaints' after defeat by league leaders

Boss Michael Duff had 'no complaints' after watching his side slip to defeat by league leaders Lincoln City.

Two goals in six second half minutes handed the league leaders a hard earned win at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.

Craig Alcock's unfortunate own goal, together with Shay McCartan's poached effort 10 minutes from time secured victory for Danny Cowley's side.

"There was a definite gulf between the two teams today," said Duff after the game.

"They were better than us, they are top of the league and we are not top of the league.

"You could see that today and we are disappointed we didn’t get going. We invited them on and they showed why they are a good team because they were clinical and spent most of the game in our half.

"We have to recognise who you are playing against as well. Danny has had that team together for a long time and they have a way of playing and they did it very well.

"I was more disappointed we didn’t get into the game and impact ourselves on the game as we’d have liked. That’s credit to them."
