Defender Matt Bower's loan move to Weston-super-Mare has been extended until January 1, 2019.
There is an option in the deal that allows the club to recall the centre half if required.
The 19-year-old has made seven appearances and has scored once for the National League South side since arriving last month.
Bower claimed the opening goal in Saturday's FA Cup Second Round Qualifying 2-2 draw with Salisbury and was named Man of the Match for his efforts.
The Seagulls dramatically won last night's replay with a goal in the last minute of extra time, and will face will face Coggeshall Town at Woodspring Park in the next round.
“Weston-Super-Mare wanted to extend the loan as Matthew has been starting for them so it benefits all parties," said boss Michael Duff.
“Matthew has been getting some regular first team football during this loan and we will continue to monitor his progress closely.”
